Mike experienced first hand the stress, conflict, poor relationships and lack of purpose many people suffered in their daily lives during his career in corporate business. He believes God created us with an inherent significance and value as well as being made for relationship. Healthy relationships are essential to our well being and fulfillment in life which are founded in a relationship with Christ. Helping couples create stronger, happier marriages is Mike’s passion and focus of study. Building friendship and love, teaching skills and tools for communication and for managing conflict, and helping couples create shared meaning together are a priority for marriage therapy.
Mike desires to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves, and develop genuine relationships with God and others. His business career, strong marriage and his personal life experiences provide insight in order to help individuals and couples with practical daily challenges and stress regarding work, home and other social relationships. He deals with the whole person in their thinking, emotions and behaviors, as well as their physical and spiritual well being; all which lead to more satisfying, successful living.
Mike has been married for thirty-seven years to Susan who works in the financial management industry. They have one daughter, Lauren working in the fitness industry. His personal interests include travel, reading, financial markets and teaching the Bible. He is an active member and volunteer at his Church. Mike offers quality Christian and traditional counseling at reasonable rates.
